With rapid development of electric industry, higher requirement on various  types of high voltage apparatus is raised and old type of GW5 disconnector can not meet the need. For this situation, we conduct modification design based on original type in accordance with existing national and international standards as well as problems encountered by the disconnector in use. Both electrical and mechanical performance of the disconnector after modification has improved a lot and the product has completely reached requirement of National standard GB1985and its first revision and international standards IEC129,IEC694 as well.  2,Service condition  The disconnector is used in 3-phase AC 50Hz circuit for switching the circuit at no load and the basic service condition is as follows:Altitude above sea level:Not exceed 1000m for general product, Not exceed 3000m for plateau type product ;Ambient temperature:Not less than 40°C,Not higher than +40°C;Wind velocity:Not exceed 35m/s;   Earthquake intensity:Not exceed 8 grade ;The general type product is suitable for the area withⅡ grade contamination,while the anti-contamination type for the area with Ⅲ grade contamination;It is classified according to  (GB5582national standard); 3,It is not suitable for the following places    Place with combustibles and explosion danger;   Place with extreme vibration and shock;   Place with chemical substance seriously corroding metal and insulating material; 4,Basic technical ratings  5,Basic technical ratings

 6,Operation and inspection 1,Inspection before putting into operation       Each conductive contacting position shall contact well , the tightening part shall be firm and reliable, each moving position shall be smooth and connection between the disconnector and busbar shall be reliable.   2,Operation The disconnector can not operate until cutting off load of the line. The disconnector with earthing blade can not close the earthing blade until the main blade opens to its final position, otherwise, the main blade can not close until the earthing blade opens to its final position.    3,Periodical inspection      Conduct comprehensive inspection on the disconnector every year and pay attention to the following items in the inspection:Clean the dirt , maintain conductive contacting surface and apply industrial Vaseline;Inspect each part and, in case of damage, conduct repair and replacement;Inspect 3-phase synchronization of high speed main blade and closing condition of the earthing blade;Inspect the looseness of each tightening part;Inspection operating condition and lockout of the mechanism;Inspect the correctness of indication of the auxiliary switch;Apply lubrication grease on each mechanical operation position;Remove rust and apply paint completely on muter surface.
